Use | organic synthesis intermediates. It is an important raw material for the synthesis of ice dye, red base KB and phenol AS-KB |
production method | is obtained by chlorination of O-nitrotoluene. The oily product obtained by chlorination of O-nitrotoluene contains about 15% of unreacted O-nitrotoluene, 30% of 4-chloro-2-nitrotoluene, 50% 2-chloro-6-nitrotoluene and 5% polychlorinated compounds. The oily matter is distilled under high efficiency and reduced pressure, and the fraction of 118 ℃(1.33kPa) is collected (distilled as clean as possible), and then the remainder is cooled to precipitate 4-chloro-2-nitrotoluene, the final product was obtained by centrifugal filtration. |
